Tenant agrees to have flea / tick treatment prior to tenancy for the safety and comfort of all pets visiting the rental
The pet will not be allowed to be left unattended to roam free or left tethered without supervision
If the pet is left unattended for a reasonable period of time, it will be left inside the home in the kitchen area and or crated
When the pet is allowed out of the property it will be under complete control of a responsible human companion and on a hand-held leash
The pet shall not be allowed to become a nuisance or create any unreasonable disturbance i.e. excessive barking for a period of ten minutes or more or any other unruly or dangerous behavior
Persons who walk pets are responsible for immediately cleaning up after their animals and discarding securely bagged pet droppings in designated pet waste bins
Pet waste on the property shall be completely cleaned up by the tenant prior to departure
The tenant will be responsible for any damage caused by their pets. Any damage caused by cleaning chemicals or other such materials used in an attempt to remedy said damage is also the full responsibility of the pet owner
The tenant shall indemnify the landlord and hold harmless against loss, liability, judgements, expenses or claims by third parties for any injury to any person or damage to property of any kind caused by the resident’s pets
The security deposit will be returned to you within 30 days of departure pending the rental inspection report
