Eastham Town Beaches

There are absolutely no dogs allowed on any of the town beaches at any time from June 15th through Labor Day, except at Dyer Prince Road Beach on the Eastham side of Rock Harbor where they are allowed before 9:00 am and after 4:00 pm.

Wellfleet Town Beaches

Dogs are allowed on Marconi, Cahoon Hollow, and White Crest beaches during the summer, only before 9 am and after 5 pm. During the off-season, from after Labor Day to the end of the third week in June, dogs are allowed all day.

Orleans Town Beaches

No animals or pets will be permitted on the beaches, in the parking areas or in vehicles in the parking area at any time during the period of the Friday before Memorial Day through Columbus Day. No animals or pets will be permitted in playground areas. Nauset Beach in Orleans has designated areas and times where dogs are allowed. Click here to view map and dates for these areas.

Cape Cod National Seashore

The park offers a 40-mile stretch of pristine sandy beaches. Dogs on leash are allowed year-round on all of the seashore beaches, except for seasonally posted nesting or life-guarded beaches. Leashed pets are also allowed on fire roads, and the Head of the Meadow bicycle trail in Truro.
